City Transportation
Public transportation buses (PT) run all over the city. When going on trips tracing the beautiful scenery of Karlovy Vary’s downtown or periphery you do not have to wander in the streets and look for indicators. Simply take a bus and get off at the right bus stop within convenient distance form your destination. All the buses leave from a stop marked as Tržnice (Market Place) in the center of Karlovy Vary. The public transportation company operates 18 regular lines, 2 night lines, 5 special lines and 2 cable cars.

For fast and reliable transport to Karlovy Vary you can also use the services of the Prague Transfers & Services, s.r.o.
Intercity buses leave from the Terminal at Dolní nádraží (the Lower Railroad Station) in Karlovy Vary. Buses going to Ostrov, Jáchymov and some other towns depart from Tržníce (Market Place) too. Most intercity lines are run by the companies IDKV and LIGNETA.
